international conservation affairs
Joint Commissions
These form an integral part of conservation and protection of wildlife.
They are central instruments for bilateral and multilateral cooperation amongst countries. The resolutions arising from joint commissions seek to cover each and every aspect relating to environmental conservation and must be observed and implemented by the countries in good faith, as they constitute part of international relations and law.
The Joint Commissions Coordination Unit
It exists within the Parks and Wildlife Management Authority for the coordination of implementation and enforcement of decisions, resolutions and declarations arising out of Joint Commissions between Zimbabwe and other countries.
