MUSHANDIKE COLLEGE OF WILDLIFE

Mushandike College of Wildlife Management was established in 1981 and was officially opened by the Minister of Natural Resource. The institute is wholly owned and funded by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority.

PROBLEM ANIMAL CONTROL (PAC)

The Problem Animal Control Unit deals with problem animals such as snakes (venomous and non-venomous), hippos, crocodiles, etc. Pythons are non venomous therefore they can be caught by hand by two people.

A Transfrontier Conservation Area (TFCA) refers to a cross-border region whose different component areas have different forms of conservation status such as national parks, private game reserves, communal natural resource management areas as well as hunting concession areas.
